Jun 14, 10, 06:59 AM @Zain Qazi - Could you please send me your email address as well as contact number. As all of the documentaries were submitted in HEC, we have processed all the entries based on the given database, which have been based on the university endorsement letters. Were these names given in that letter? If they were let me recheck and we will make sure they are also given the certificates. For the award ceremony they are more than welcome, but if their names were submitted they also deserve the due recognition. Please email me your cell number as that is not on either your entry nor letter and we need to send out the event details today.

Jun 06, 10, 07:58 AM @Dr Shafqat - The criteria for the documentaries have been clearly stated in the marketing campaign and communicated by the project partners to all the students. They have been the same base to judge the documentaries. As for your reservation on the solutiongiven aspects in these documentaries, please bear in mind that our target audience has been primarily students. The aim was to provide them with a platform through which they would express their thoughts and creativty on a subject which is effecting us all on a daily basis. The Cultivating Hope also included lecture series on the subject in which we visited various universities to discuss the subject, its impact with the aim to build a mindset that the youth needs to overcome the current situation for a better tomorrow. We did not expect them to come up with solutions for the Government..yet...but this project is just the beginning..and I think we should give the students credit for starting to think about the subject, do research on it and create a debate....we need to motivate our youth and encourage them to participate in issues relevant to our national development..if we do not include them we can not expect them to make a difference tomorrow...
